Survey started for assessment of losses: PDMA dispatches relief goods to rain hit Dera Bugti for 1,000 families

QUETTA: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has dispatched relief goods for 1,000 rain affected families in Dera Bugti on Thursday.
According to an official hand out issued here, rains were reported from Dera Bugti, Naseerabad, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Hub and adjoining areas.
The hand out mentioned that human and financial damages were reported due to heavy rains from Dera Bugti the other day.
The rescue and relief activities are continued by the PDMA, district administration and other concerned authorities in the rain hit district.
The survey has been started to make assessment of the losses caused due to the rains in Dera Bugti.
Besides, the PDMA is in contact with the administration of all the districts to tackle any emergent situation well in time.
Meanwhile, more rains have been expected in Lasbela, Hub, Khuzdar Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Naseerabad, Sohbatpur, Zhob and adjoining areas during next 24 hours.
