The Sukkur Police has announced its six-month performance report, revealing notable achievements in combating crime. Under the leadership of SSP Amjad Ahmed Sheikh, the police force has made substantial strides in maintaining law and order.Key Achievements:*
96 Police Encounters_: Sukkur Police engaged in 96 encounters with criminals, resulting in the elimination of five notorious dacoits and the injury of 32 others.¹
– _88 Dacoits Apprehended_: Authorities successfully arrested 88 dacoits, while 33 gang members were busted.
– _Hostage Rescue_: Police rescued 33 hostages from the clutches of dacoits.
– _Wanted Criminals Caught_: A total of 554 wanted criminals and 1144 absconders were taken into custody.
– _Recovery of Stolen Goods_: Police recovered seven cars, 96 motorcycles, 33 other vehicles, and over 50 mobile phones, returning them to their rightful owners.

The Sukkur Police also launched a crackdown on illegal arms and narcotics. Authorities seized six short guns, 75 pistols, one rifle, and 185 rounds of ammunition. Additionally, 456 drug peddlers and numerous narcotics sellers were apprehended.
