Strengthening Ties: Pakistan’s Ambassador Sheikh Discusses Bilateral Cooperation with Congressman Suozzi
*WASHINGTON D.C.* Sep 03 (Monitoring desk) – In a telephonic conversation on Tuesday, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, spoke with Congressman Tom Suozzi, a leading member of the Pakistan Caucus in the US Congress, to discuss ways to strengthen Pakistan-US relations and bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Sheikh and Congressman Suozzi acknowledged the importance of Pakistan-US relations for both countries and the region.
– They noted recent positive developments between the two countries, including increased economic ties and people-to-people exchanges.
– Both agreed to work together to further strengthen bilateral relations, promote mutual understanding, and activate and strengthen the Pakistan Caucus in the US Congress.
