Stern action to be taken against those keeping private gunmen wearing Levies uniform: DG

QUETTA: The Director General of Levies Force in Balochistan, Naseebullah Kakar has warned that stern action would be taken against those keeping private gunmen wearing Levies uniform in the province.
According to an official press release issued here on Monday, the Director General Levies said that a letter has been issued to Deputy Commissioners of all districts. In the letter, it has been conveyed to the Deputy Commissioners to take action against those who keep private guards clad in the Levies uniform.
He said that we would not allow anyone to defame the uniforms of forces at all. Nor we would allow anyone to take law in one’s hand, the Director General Levies further warned.
He said that the forces are responsible for protection of life and property of the masses and all of them including Levies and police are ready to perform and control any emergent situation.
He asserted that we would not let anyone harm the province and country.
