Provincial Secretary Information, Imran Khan, emphasized the importance of sports participation for students, stating that it fosters not only physical growth but also significant mental development. He stressed the need for balance between academics and sports activities.
While addressing the 24th Mini Olympic Games’ All Quetta Inter-Schools Girls Throw Ball and Catch Ball final ceremony, Khan lauded the enthusiasm of Balochistan’s girls in throw ball, a relatively new sport.
“Hazarah Town Girls School clinched victory against Kili Ibrahimzai Girls School in the thrilling throw ball final, while the catch ball final saw intense competition,” he noted.
As Chairman of the Throw Ball Association, Khan expressed optimism that these young athletes will excel in sports and bring glory to the nation.
The event promoted healthy competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship among Quetta’s schoolgirls, reflecting the government’s commitment to nurturing talent and empowering youth through sports.
