Special permission granted by PMDC to Balochistan medical students for double batch admissions thanks to Dr. Rubaba
Independent Report
QUETTA: The Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Women Development Department, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, has successfully secured special permission for double batch admissions for medical students from Balochistan.
According to details, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi recently met with officials from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), where she briefed them on the issues faced by medical students from Balochistan. The PMDC officials, acting on Dr. Buledi’s recommendations, have withdrawn their previous decision and granted permission for four students to be admitted to medical colleges, along with special permission for double batch admissions from Balochistan for the next academic year. This means that students from Balochistan, who previously had to wait a year to get admission to medical colleges compared to students from the rest of the country, can now join medical colleges without wasting a year, alongside students from other parts of the country.
These measures will not only benefit the future of medical students but also help improve the standard of medical education in the province. Medical students and their parents from Balochistan have expressed gratitude for Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi’s efforts and hope that her endeavors will bring further improvements to the province.
