Special committee formed by CM GB reviews judicious supply & distribution of flour in various mills of GB

GILGIT: The special committee formed by the Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan (GB) reviewed in detail the judicious supply and distribution of flour among different flour mills of the GB here on Wednesday.
On the occasion, 5 gram flour was found less in some packs of the flour by Karim Flour Mill Bason.
The committee charged fine of Rs. 5,000 to the concerned flour mill on the spot.
It was also directed to submit challan of the same, otherwise it was warned to suspend the quota of the third week.
On the other hand, the meeting of the central coordination and consultation committee formed about the prescribed price of wheat, subsidy and central policy is scheduled to be held today (Thursday).
The Minister Food Ghulam Muhammad would chair the meeting of committee to be held at the committee room of Soni Jawari center.
Needless to mention here is that important issues would be discussed in the meeting.
The Minister Food is the Convenor of central coordination committee.
Other members of the committee are included: Minister Education, Ghulam Shahzad Agha, Minister Excise and Taxation, Rehmat Khaliq, Minister Law, Syed Sohail Abbas, Minister planning and development, Raja Nasir Ali Khan, Minister Social welfare, Dilshad Bano, Minister Home, Shams Lone, Advisor for IT, Suraya Zaman and Special Assistant for Information, Eman Shah.
The Secretary Food department Usman Ahmed would also be attending important meeting of the central committee.
The meeting would discuss the matters about uninterrupted supply of flour to the masses besides ensuring transparency in it and the subsidy.
It may also be mentioned that the committees have been given the task to make consultation with political elders, social leader, economic experts and media professionals at the provincial level, on special directives of the GB chief Minister.
