Speaker BA slams interference of BYC in Govt. affairs; says roads closures, strikes not solution to any issue

QUETTA: The Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai has strongly condemned the interference of Baloch Yekjehti Committee (BYC) in the government affairs.
In an official statement issued here on Monday, the Speaker said that the steps taken by what it termed “unregistered” BYC are challenging writ of the government.
He said that the closure of roads and observing strikes are not solution to any issue as such the BYC should hold constructive talks with the government.
He insisted that Balochistan is such a province which doesn’t belong to Balochs only rather this province also relates to other tribes.
He said that the closure of roads and strikes have paralyzed routine life of all people of the province. Immense hardships and disturbance have caused to the common men due to the situation, he added.
The Speaker said that the representatives of Baloch people are already present in the provincial assembly of Balochistan. If anyone has any issue, one can highlight the issues in the assembly through their representatives, he maintained.
