Governor Kamran Tessori visited SSUET Stall

KARACHI, June 17, 2023 – Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) took part in the News Education Expo 2023 held at Karachi Expo Centre and the stall of the university was centre of attraction. Organized by Jang Media Group, the Education Expo was inaugurated by Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori. Governor Kamran Tessori visited the SSUET stall and talked to the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin, Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali and others, and appreciated the efforts of the SSUET students and faculty.

Expressing his views on the auspicious occasion, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori said
that it is a matter of happiness that foreign counties like China, Turkey, Indonesia, Oman, and others are participating in this 16th International Education Expo. We have their stalls here at Expo and Consul Generals of these countries are also present on the occasion. Credit goes to the remarkable efforts of the organizers who pursued and convinced the foreigners to participate in the event under such circumstances, which really deserves huge appreciation.

Governor Kamran Tessori pointed out that around 40 major universities of the country participated in this education expo and their faculty were present at the stalls to guide the students. The education expo specially focused on artificial intelligence and digital technology which is necessary for economic boost and prosperity in the present era. Unfortunately, education is always neglected in this country and the budget allocated for education was next to nil.

Vice Chancellor SSUET, Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin, said that Education Expo is the perfect platform for students, teachers, parents, and educators to come together to learn about the latest educational opportunities and jobs in Pakistan and abroad. It will widen students’ vision and they will get useful information about further study options within the country and abroad. The Education Expo is the largest and most dynamic international education event, uniting hundreds of professionals from all over the world to empower the higher education journey.

Registrar SSUET, Commodore (r) Engr. Syed Sarfraz Ali said that the Education Expo brings together hundreds of exhibitors representing every aspect of international education including academic institutions, consulting firms, pathway providers, and much more. It is the best place for higher education administrators to meet with existing partners from different countries under one roof
