Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has launched an ambitious e-governance initiative, aiming to digitize all government departments and implement a paperless system.

Presiding over a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s House, Shah directed officials to link all departments with the Chief Secretary’s Secretariat and eventually with the CM Secretariat.

The four-phase plan includes:

1. Departments will establish internal e-systems.
2. Departments will be linked with the Chief Secretary’s Secretariat.
3. Interdepartmental connectivity will be established.
4. All secretariats will be linked with the CM Secretariat.

Secretary IT, Noor Ahmed Samoon, has been tasked with preparing proposals for the e-system and submitting them for approval.

The move aims to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in governance.
