SINDH MINIMUM WAGES BOARD FIXES MONTHLY WAGES OF SKILLED WORKERS AT RS 33280 AND UNSKILLED WORKERS AT RS 32000 PER MONTH.

Karachi . .  Sindh Minister for Revenue, Muhammad Younus Dagha has directed authorities of Board of Revenue, Sindh to launch e-Services within one month to minimize human interaction and eliminate corruption, malpractices and inefficiencies from land records & revenue system and ensure better service delivery to citizens. He presided over a meeting at Revenue House on 21st September, which was attended by Senior Member, Board of Revenue, Sindh, Zahid Ali Abbasi, Member (RS&EP), Dr. Waseem Shamshad Ali; Member (R&S), Syed Ahmed Ali Shah; Chief Inspector of Stamps, Ghulam Abbas Naich; Secretary-cum-Director, LARMIS, Saifullah Abro, Secretary (Revenue), BOR, M.B. Dharejo and other officers.

Voicing deep concern over the poor performance of Mukhtiar and Sub-Registrar offices, he said that citizens visiting these offices have to go through long ordeals and are forced to pay bribes for getting documents registered and obtaining mutation entries, sale certificates or other services. He emphasized to modernize the services to get rid of these inherent flaws of the system and directed the launch of e-services mobile apps and web applications within one month. During the meeting the Sindh Minister for Revenue was briefed about the various IT projects undertaken by the Board of Revenue, Sindh, past achievements, ongoing activities and future initiatives. He directed the concerned authorities to take advantage of digital technology and initiate facilitation projects for improving public service delivery by the Revenue Department.

After detailed discussion, following decisions were made:

The work of authentication, pending since past 10 years, of the digitized record of V.F. VII-A, V.F. VII-B, V.F. II, V.F.-I and Ghatwadh forms up to the years 2012 shall be authenticated by the concerned Mukhtiarkars and ACs simultaneously on hard copies and through an online process. The BOR shall notify the auditor to ascertain that proper authentication has been made. Deputy Commissioners shall ensure that the record is authenticated by the Mukhtiarkars of their respective districts in stipulated time i.e. 30 days. V.F.I. and Ghatwadh forms shall be authenticated by the Survey Superintendents concerned in the same manner. Director Survey & Settlement shall ensure that authentication of record is done within stipulated time. BOR shall issue a detailed SOP in this regard and this exercise shall be completed within one/two months. The e-Registration and e-Mutations system in Sindh in collaboration with PITB shall be rolled out in one pilot district within three months, which shall be replicated throughout the province within one month after the pilot run.
