Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has sounded the alarm on the growing menace of drugs in Pakistan, stating that it’s a curse that can knock on anyone’s door at any time ¹. Addressing the Sindh Assembly during question hour, Memon emphasized that drug addiction knows no boundaries, affecting not just the general public but also elected representatives.
Memon revealed that the Sindh government has a capacity to treat 400 drug addicts, while private rehabilitation centers are also operating in the province. He stressed that eradicating this scourge requires collective efforts and cooperation.
