Sindh Government Initiates Efforts to Retrieve Transport Department’s Encroached Land

Karachi, November 22, The Sindh government has begun preparations to retrieve the Transport Department’s land, which has been encroached upon. To achieve this, the government has decided to seek assistance from the Chief Secretary, IG Sindh, and the Anti-Encroachment Department.

The 13th meeting of the Sindh Mass Transit Authority Board, chaired by Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, was held in Karachi. The meeting was attended by Mayor Sukkur Arsalan Islam Shaikh, Secretary Transport Asad Zaman, Managing Director Sindh Mass Transit Authority Kamal Dayo, DIG Traffic Ahmed Nawaz Cheema, and other board members.

During the meeting, Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that the Sindh Mass Transit Authority Board had previously decided to retrieve the Transport Department’s land. He emphasized the need to eliminate illegal encroachments on the land as soon as possible, with the assistance of the Chief Secretary, IG Sindh, and the Anti-Encroachment Department.
