Sindh Dodge Ball Elections: Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh elected President Abid Naeem Secretary General

Karachi (Sports Reporter) Election phase of Sindh Dodgeball Association has been completed. Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh President, Abed Naeem Secretary General and Izhar Ahmed Khazan have been elected as treasurer.According to the details, Sindh Dodgeball Association elections for the next four years were held at Peppercorn Restaurant, Hyderabad, in which Ahmed Ali Rajput, Secretary General of Sindh Olympic Association took special part. Asghar Baloch on behalf of Sindh Olympic Association, District Sports Officer Governament of Sindh Maryam Kereo  and Pervez Ahmed Sheikh as observer on behalf of the Federation were present on the occasion of the election.Imtiaz Ahmed Shiekh elected as  President Sindh Dodge Ball Association,Ibrahem Achaa Senior Vice President, Syed Khizr Mehdi, Kashan Ahmed, Nusrat Afzal and Iram Ibrahim were elected as Vice Presidents, Abid Naeem Secretary General, Muhammad Adam Qureshi Deputy Secretary General and Izhar Ahmed Khan were elected Tresurer.Mohameed Faisal Maqsood  Ex Director,Shazia Hasan, Ghazala, Sheher Bano,Babar Ali, Zafar Iqbal, Sajjad Ali and Ghulam Mustafa Dhot became the Associate Secretary General and Umer Shaheen elected as Media Co Ordinator. On this occasion, Ahmed Ali Rajput said that the International Olympic Committee emphasizes on increasing the number of women in every sports federation and association, and I am very happy that women have been given proportionate representation in Sindh Dodgeball Association elections which is commendable, other associations should also emulate it, he said while congratulating the newly elected office bearers. He expressed the hope that Sindh Dodgeball Association will try to promote dodgeball in all the districts and divisions of Sindh. Imtiaz Ahmed Shiekh said that we should try working at the grass root level, we will promote the sport of dodgeball in schools and colleges, we will prepare an annual calendar which will include organizing major events at divisional, district, school, college and university levels while also forming clubs. He said that soon coaching courses will be organized in all divisions of Sindh as well as courses for technical officials.Mariam Kereo Congratulated the newly elected officers of the association and expressed good wishes.
