Sanghar ( Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Sindh Cultural Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor across the city of Tando Adam, as citizens turned the streets into a sea of colors and cultural pride. The celebrations showcased traditional Sindhi attire, folk music, and dances, symbolizing the deep connection of the people with their land and heritage.
Massive rallies were organized by various political, social, and nationalist groups, with participants donning Sindhi topis and ajraks, and waving flags that symbolized their love for Sindh. Children, youth, and elderly alike participated, expressing their devotion through traditional dances and national songs.
Key rallies included a procession led by Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) from Bhittai Nagar to the Press Club under the leadership of Ghulam Shabir Korejo and Irshad Brohi. Human Rights Protection Organization also organized a march from Muhammadi Chowk, led by Mazhar Chandio and Nasir Qureshi, while the Khaskheli-Rajooni Alliance led a rally from Qabool Shah village to the Press Club.
Addressing the participants, speakers emphasized the importance of preserving Sindh’s cultural heritage and ancient sites. They highlighted the rich traditions of Sindh as the identity of its people, urging the community to play an active role in safeguarding their heritage.
Markets across the city were bustling as people shopped for traditional Sindhi topis, ajraks, and other cultural items, adding to the festive atmosphere. Cultural events, including book stalls and poetry sessions, were organized by Sindh Students Council and Sayat Magazine. Prominent poets and intellectuals, such as Nabi Bux Dehraj and Baghil Theem, captivated the audience with their inspiring words, while tableaux and folk performances added vibrancy to the celebrations.
