SINDH CM SYED MURAD ALI SHAH MEETS WITH NAB CHAIRMAN LT. GEN. (R) NAZIR AHMED

Karachi, August 7: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah met with National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Lt. Gen. (R) Nazir Ahmed at the CM House. The meeting discussed NAB’s investigations into corruption cases and the protection of forest land worth Rs 3.6 trillion.

CM Murad Ali Shah appreciated the joint efforts of NAB, the Forest Department, and the Revenue Department, which have yielded remarkable results. He emphasized that corruption can be eradicated through mutual cooperation and collective efforts.

NAB Chairman Lt. Gen. (R) Nazir Ahmed briefed the CM on the progress of investigations in Sindh and thanked him for the cooperation between NAB and the Sindh government in combating corruption.

The meeting highlighted the achievements of the joint operation, including the recovery of 18 lakh acres of forest land worth Rs 3.6 trillion, the cancellation of illegal allotments, and the removal of 70% of illegal encroachments. The CM directed the Forest Department and the Board of Revenue to ensure the protection of the recovered land.
