Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah visited the housing construction sites in Tando Muhammad Khan district today, where work is underway under the Sindh People’s Housing for Flood-Affectees (SPHF) programme. He was accompanied by Provincial Ministers Saeed Ghani and Nasir Shah, along with other relevant officials.
Launched in November 2022, the SPHF programme aims to rebuild 2.1 million homes across the province, providing relief to millions displaced by the catastrophic floods of 2022. The programme marks a significant step towards restoring normalcy and enhancing the lives of those impacted by the floods.
During the visit, Jaleelullah Khokhar, District Project Officer of the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP), briefed the Chief Minister on the resilient houses being built with the support of the Government of Sindh.
