PESHAWAR- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary & Secondary Education Department has issued a pivotal directive to address the perplexing closure of schools in the North and South Waziristan districts. In light of the lack of clarity in responses from District Education Officers, a decisive measure is being taken. A Joint Inspection Team, comprising officials from the Education Monitoring Authority, Deputy Commissioners, District Education Officers, Assistant Commissioners, and Additional Assistant Commissioners, is set to be formed. These teams will diligently undertake regular visits to each school until the onset of the winter vacation. Urgency is emphasized as the Education Monitoring Authority is called upon to deploy additional Deputy Chief Monitoring Assistants from adjacent districts, ensuring a thorough monitoring approach without compromising existing responsibilities. Deputy Commissioners are instructed to entrust Assistant Commissioners and Additional Assistant Commissioners with the leadership of specialized inspection teams. Notably, any deliberate negligence, impersonation, or inappropriate conduct by employees or teachers will prompt the immediate issuance of Show Cause Notices, adhering to established rules, and the imposition of significant penalties for non-compliance.
