Shikarpur, September 19: District Health Officer (DHO) held separate press conferences to address allegations and reaffirm their commitment to discipline.
DHO stated, “We will not tolerate negligence. Before accusing us, review our record. We have never indulged in wrongdoing nor will we allow others to.”
– Three days ago, Maleria department employee Zafar Haider Arain and his family members forcibly entered the DHO’s office without permission.
– During DHO’s prayer, Zafar and his family created a disturbance.
– Upon completion of prayer, DHO inquired about the absence of his gatekeeper, who replied that he was present at the door but hesitant to intervene due to Zafar’s wife’s presence.
DHO emphasized:
– “We maintain transparency and accountability.”
– “Negligent staff will face consequences.”
– “Our focus remains on quality healthcare services.”
The DHO urged the public to report any irregularities, ensuring swift action.
