Shahid Rind, the spokesperson for the Government of Balochistan, visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH)

On May 29, 2024, Shahid Rind, the spokesperson for the Government of Balochistan, visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Safraz Bugti. He met with the injured and expressed good wishes for their speedy recovery. Accompanying him were Secretary Health Balochistan, Saleh Baloch, and Director Health, Fehim Khan Afridi. The CMH administration briefed them on the condition of the seven critically injured patients in the ICU and two others receiving treatment in the general ward. The spokesperson and health officials expressed satisfaction with the treatment being provided. Shahid Rind stated that the Chief Minister had expressed deep regret over the incident and that the Pakistan Army and civil administration had transferred all the injured to Quetta via helicopter. He added that an investigation into the incident is underway, and in action will be taken against the transport company if any negligence is found.
