Shahbazgarhi police arrested the culprits involved in the blind murder of a taxi driver.

The Shahbazgarhi police arrested the culprits involved in the blind murder of a taxi driver. The arrested accused also recovered the murder weapon, a pistol, and the stolen taxi car. SP Investigation Mardan Muhammad Sulaiman, along with SP Rural Division Muhammad Ijaz Sherpao, briefed the media press conference about the case and said that the Shahbazgarhi police found a dead body near the motorway at the service road Gela Kandao.

The body was identified as Amrid Hussain, son of Talib Hussain, a resident of Bara Kahu Islamabad, and the body was shifted to the hospital for a postmortem. The report of the incident was registered at the Shahbazgarhi police station. Upon receiving the report, RPO Mardan Region Muhammad Sulaiman and DPO Mardan Najeeb-ur-Rehman took notice and formed a police team under the supervision of SP Investigation Muhammad Sulaiman (PSP) and SP Rural Muhammad Ijaz Sherpao for the arrest of the accused involved in the blind murder case.

DSP Rural Circle Jahan Akbar, SHO Momin Khan, and the Investigation Officer, along with the police team, arrested three accused, Muhammad Islam, Hasnain, and Muhammad Altaf, residents of Kata Khat, using modern scientific tools and professional investigation. The arrested accused confessed to their crime during interrogation and said that they booked the deceased taxi driver Amrid Hussain from Rawalpindi and stopped him at the scene of the incident on the pretext of going to the toilet, and accused Muhammad Islam fired and killed him with a pistol and stole the deceased’s car and hid it in a shop.

The mentioned car and the murder weapon pistol used in the incident were also recovered upon identification of the arrested accused. Police teams have been formed for the arrest of the fourth accomplice of the arrested accused, which is expected soon. Further investigation is underway against the accused.
