Services of late parliamentarian applauded: BA adopts resolution on death of Maulana Khairkhaw; session adjourned till November 25

QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly adopted a resolution in recognition of the services of late former Member of Provincial Assembly and Minister, Maulana Allahdad Khairkhaw in a sitting here on Friday afternoon.
The Speaker, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai was in the chair.
Fateha was offered for the departed soul of late Maulana Allahdad Khairkhaw in the House as the Speaker pointed out that he (Maulana Khairkhaw) died on November 19.
Meanwhile, the member of Provincial Assembly, Mir Zabid Reki tabled resolution commending services of the late parliamentarian.
In the resolution, it was also urged the House to defer the session of assembly as per the rules. So, the resolution was adopted and thus session of assembly was postponed till 03:00 PM, November 25, 2024.
Earlier, on a point of order, the MPA and former Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch pointed out that the government members don’t come in the assembly. He said that we, the members of Opposition meets the requirement of quorum.
He urged the chair to give ruling for the presence of government members in the House.
