10th karachi, Sep 10: Senior Minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has stated that using offensive language against women and threatening journalists, as well as speaking against the country’s institutions in a provincial chief minister’s speech, is condemnable. He emphasized that this behavior is not solely the fault of the individual, but also reflects the views and history of his trainer and party leader.
Speaking in the Sindh Assembly, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that if we examine the history of this party, it is evident that it has unfortunately tainted the politics of this country and pushed it to the brink of destruction. In the past, we had political differences and conflicts, but they never escalated into enmity. However, the leader of this party fostered an environment where political differences turned into personal animosity. Workers were instructed that the more abusive they were, the higher their ministerial positions and better their rewards would be.”
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that The Pakistan Peoples Party has provided Chief Ministers such as Aftab Shaban Mirani, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Syed Abdullah Shah, and Syed Murad Ali Shah. In contrast, PTI has given us Chief Ministers like Buzdar in Punjab and Ali Amin Gandapur in KPK. If the leader of an organization favors those who are the most abusive, it reflects their own mentality. He said that During Imran Khan’s tenure as Prime Minister, a woman was raped, and in a TV interview, Khan remarked that such incidents occur because of the clothes women wear. It is shameful that the Prime Minister of a country, who is responsible for the welfare of 240 million people, would blame a rape victim’s attire for the crime. So you can understand whether he is mentally healthy?
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that PTI members in the Sindh Assembly support Gandapur’s statement, yet they seem unaware that their own leaders, Chairman Barrister Gohar and Umar Ayub, have been apologizing to journalists. While PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar issues apologies, the jailed former PTI chairman expresses support for Gandapur’s remarks, creating an even greater inconsistency. He said that Imran Khan has not spent even a year in jail. In contrast, President Asif Ali Zardari endured 12 years of imprisonment, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, the mother of democracy, faced significant hardships in prison, and our leader Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged and judicially murdered. Despite these trials, they never spoke of conspiracies or attempted to undermine institutions.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that in 2018, PTI came into power with a dubious mandate. PTI expects everyone to fall in line and hand over power, but that is not going to happen. You were incompetent before, you remain so, and you will continue to be, because you lack political awareness and genuine political acumen. He said that The Times of Israel published an article in support of Imran Khan. Dr. Israr Ahmed Siddiqui stated twenty-five years ago that Imran Khan would be introduced in Pakistan as part of a grand conspiracy. Our national hero, Abdul Sattar Edhi, mentioned that Imran Khan, accompanied by Hameed Gul, came to him and sought his support to topple Ms. Benazir Bhutto’s government.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that It was a significant and egregious conspiracy that Imran Khan imposed on this country and its people. The individual who was forced upon this nation is now heavily responsible for its current situation. He said that Popularity does not equate to making drastic decisions like dropping atomic bombs or banning the IMF. It doesn’t mean engaging in tragedies like May 9. Those responsible on Capitol Hill face consequences, so why should anyone from your ranks be exempt?
