Seminar organized by NDF about International Day of Disabled Persons

LARKANA : A seminar was organized by the National Disability Forum (NDF) at the Rehabilitation Center in Larkana in connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities celebrated on December 3 in Larkana. FG President Abid Ali Lashari said that this day is celebrated every year to highlight the hidden talents of disabled people who are equal part of this society and this day shows their importance. Because people with disabilities are not different but are an important part of our society and it is important to support them at all levels, Abid Ali Lashari added that the NDF Rehabilitation Center here provides comprehensive services to mentally challenged children. Including physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and psychotherapy, parents of children undergoing treatment at NDF are entitled to free rehabilitation provided by the NDF Rehabilitation Centre were believed On the other hand, the Deputy Director of DAPD, Department of Sindh, Saeed Ahmad Jatoi said in his address that the services provided by NDF for the disabled are commendable, which is the hard work and efforts of Pakistan and a reliable partner of DAPD. Recognized as an organization, it reiterated the firm commitment of the Sindh government to support efforts to improve the lives of children with disabilities. On this occasion, NDF Program Manager Tariq Hussain Chanhar shed light on the Sindh Government’s vision of equality, which includes disability in development activities, while NDF is always striving to provide better services at the Larkana Center, while disability cannot be cured but can be effectively managed through continuous re-habilitation, the aim of this seminar is to empower people with disabilities by the Government of Sindh in partnership with organizations like NDF. To highlight the commitment to ensure accessible and quality facilities.
