QUETTA: The security plan has been prepared for protection of the passengers and transporters on the national highways in the Balochistan province.
The official sources said that the security plan has been prepared for prevention of the incidents of lawlessness on the highways of province.
Under the security plan, it has been decided to increase patrolling of the personnels of law enforcement agencies on the highways.
According to the sources, patrolling of personnels of police, Levies, Frontier Corps and Balochistan Constabulary would be increased on the highways.
While on the other hand, checking mechanism has also been changed on different routes of the province from Quetta to Karachi, Quetta to Loralai and Quetta to Sibi.
Needless to mention here is that the security plan has been revised in view of the increasing number of incidents of terrorism and other subversive acts occurred on different highways of the province.
