QUETTA: The Secretary Information Department, Imran Khan has stated that there’s least representation of the province in sports sector, so there is a need to provide necessary facilities and opportunities to the male and female students in this sector so as to fill the gap.
The Secretary Information was speaking on occasion of the inauguration of girls throw-ball coaching camp set up by the Balochistan Throw Ball Association here on Tuesday.
The Secretary said that the participation of female students in sports of modern era other than is welcoming.
He said that the government would ensure every possible steps to motivate students for taking part in the sports and extra-curricula activities.
The female students would be provided necessary opportunities so that they may represent the province at the national and international level.
Also present on the occasion were the Secretary of Throw ball Association, Naeem Akhtar, Technical Director, Manzoor Sarpara, Chief Coach, Kamran Siddiqui, Coordinator Muhammad Ayub Khilji and other office bearers of the association besides the students of schools and colleges.
The Secretary Information said that there’s no dearth of talent in our students what’s needed is to provide proper guidance and training so that they may demonstrate good performance in the games at the provincial, national and international levels.
It may be mentioned here that the girls throw ball coaching camp commenced the throw ball coaching camp on Tuesday.
