Secretary Health Dept. directs to take steps for provision of healthcare facilities in all Govt’s hospitals

QUETTA: The Secretary Health, Saleh Muhammad Baloch has underlined the need to take steps for provision of all possible healthcare facilities in the hospitals at the earliest.
He also directed to take steps to remove shortage of the medicines in the hospitals.
The Secretary said that it is our top priority to provide medical facilities to the people and for this, we have to work as team,
He also directed to ensure steps for procurement of the medicines as per the rules and regulations and that under the budget allocated for the financial year.
He said that all available resources are being mobilized for the health sector according to the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and the Provincial Minister for Health.
The Secretary was presiding over the meeting about procurement of the medicines in hospitals here on Wednesday.
Those who were present in the meeting were included Director General Health, Dr Amin Mandokhail, Director MSD Dr Ismail Mirwani, Additional Secretary Primary Health, Riasat Ali, and other concerned technical directors of the health department.
The matters were discussed about procurement of the medicines according to the rules and regulations besides other related ones.
The meeting decided to ensure procurement of the medicines for the hospitals.
