QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has stated that service delivery has to be improved for resolving the public issues, and in this regard, the inefficient civil servants would have to mend their way.
He asserted that no lenience and negligence would be tolerated on part of the civil servants.
The Chief Minister was speaking on occasion of his meeting with the labourers, senior citizens, students and other poor people on occasion of the World Labour Day on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister spent the Labour Day with them who apprised him their issues.
He issues on the sport directives to resolve most of the issues as highlighted on the occasion.
S[peaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that we have to improve service delivery for resolving the public issues.
He said that the poor people are facing hardships and problems. In view of this, the officers have to create easiness for them, adding he stressed.
The Chief Minister warned that no lenience and negligence would be tolerated in performing duties by the civil servants.
He also warned that the inefficient officers and government employees have to mend their way.
He said that if the issues are resolve at local level, then the people would not be needing to come to Quetta for resolving them.
He regretfully pointed out that the poor people are trapped in unnecessary complicities, which is sorrowful.
He said that most of the issues of people must be resolved by the officers at local level being their topmost responsibility.
He stressed that we have to improve the governance as our institutions would be made effective by improving governance.
He also asserted that the anti-public attitude of the civil officers is intolerable and as such the issues of every citizen must be resolved by giving them due respect.
