QUETTA: The senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Sardar Ayaz Sadiq formally invited the prominent political and tribal leader and former Senator Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani to join the PML-N.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq invited Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani for joining the PML-N during his meeting with the later as he visited the Sarawan House for the purpose on Thursday.
Also accompanied with him were the provincial leadership of PML-N Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail, Jamal Shah Kakar, Naseemur Rehman Mulakhail, Chaudhary Naeem Karim besides others.
Soon after the meeting, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq addressed a joint press conference along with Lashkari Raisani.
On the occasion, Ayaz Sadiq said that he has come to see Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani and invited him to join the party on directives of the central leader of party, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Ms. Maryam Nawaz.
He said that during meeting with Lashkari Raisani, there was discussion on the issues of Balochistan and its people.
He said that PML-N leaders Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have long association with Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani and his family.
He said that Nawabzada Lashkari may join the party or not, but the relationship with his and his family would sustain in future.
He said that Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani spoke about the issues of Balochistan. During the meeting, he (Raisani) talked about Pakistan only and he wants to see it strong, what all we want too, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq maintained.
Later, addressing the presser, Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani said that he has been invited to join the PML-N, for he is thankful to Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and the PML-N leadership.
However, he said that he would make the decision about joining the PML-N after making consultation with his companions and well wishers.
He said that we want that common men may play role in the politics so as to remove the sense of deprivation prevailing among them.
Later, addressing the presser, provincial president of PML-N Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail said that we have useful talks with Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani and hopefully he would become part of the party.
