Sanghar District Police Conducts Drug Bust, 12 Arrested

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The Sanghar District Police has intensified its crackdown on drug dealers, resulting in the arrest of 12 suspects in various operations.

In a significant operation, SHO Khipro Nabi Bakhsh Lashari apprehended drug dealers Arbab Chandio, Ubaid Baloch, and Mashooq Ali, seizing 1,400 packets of harmful gutka and 10 liters of alcohol. Another suspect, Mansab Ali, managed to escape.

In a separate raid, SHO Shahdadpur Niaz Hussain Kalhoro raided a distillery run by Naveed Baghrani, recovering 30 liters of alcohol and destroying dozens of liters of unprocessed liquor on-site.

Additionally, SHO Sinjhoro Anil Juman Kori seized six bottles of whiskey from Ghulam Mustafa Brohi. Other police stations, including those led by SHO Lundo Laiq Zardari, SHO Taluka Jabir Hussain Lahori, SHO B Section Salam Din Solangi, and SHO Sanghar Gulzar Ali Mari, also conducted successful operations, resulting in the confiscation of 110 liters of alcohol from various suspects, including Mukhtiar Ali Khasakheli, Waheed Murad Baloch, Zafar Iqbal Arain, Abdul Sattar Ansari, Zohaib Nizamani, and Muhammad Rafiq Mari.

All arrested drug dealers are facing charges under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
