Sakrand, October 21 Final-year Environmental Department students at Quaid-e-Awam University have achieved a groundbreaking feat by harnessing wind energy to produce electricity.
Under the guidance of Dr. Imran Ahmed Samoon, students Kashif Batool, Fatima Rao, Shoaib Ali, and Jawad Ahmed utilized wind flow generated by traffic movement to produce electricity, promoting environmental sustainability.
This innovative project enables:
– Roadside lighting
– Traffic signals
– Water pumps for plants
Completely free and environmentally friendly.
