QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has stated that the sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), his family and companions for survival and upholding of Islam are the bright chapter of the religion.
He said that their sacrifices can never be forgotten and are the torch bearers for the whole Muslim ummah.
The Chief Minister said that the best way to pay homage to the martyrs of Karbala is that we may create spirit of sacrifice and tolerance among ourselves and prove to be best Muslims while promoting the spirit of brotherhood and unity by our actions and words.
The Chief Minister said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) refused to surrender despite they were less in number and preferred to sacrifice their lives for the right cause instead.
He said that Islam was upheld following the sacrifices of Karbala martyrs and thus evil forces were defeated.
He said that the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) are the role model for the whole Muslim Ummah.
He said that the present time required from us to promote unity among all Muslims belonging to all schools of thought and maintain unity among our ranks against all terrorists and miscreants.
The Chief Minister stressed that our Ulemas have to guide the society in right direction.
He also directed to all concerned departments to provide foolproof security to the processions of Ashura-e-Muharram.
