Rs. 10 billion allocated in provincial budget: CM assures to deal with matters of solarization of agri. tube wells soon

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has assured that the matters about solarization of agriculture tube wells would be dealt with soon. He said that the provincial government has allocated Rs. 10 billion for the project of solarization in the next financial year.
The Chief Minister was speaking to a delegation of Balochistan Zamindar Action Committee who called on him under leadership of its chairman, Malik Naseer Ahmed Shahwani here on Monday.
During the course of meeting, Provincial Minister for Finance, Mir Shoaib Nausherwani, Secretary Finance were also present.
The matters about shifting the agricultural tube wells on solar energy were discussed between the Chief Minister and zamindars.
During the course of meeting, Chief Minister contacted the Federal Secretary Power Division, who informed that the matters about solarization project were delayed due to business in the federal budget.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that the complaints about electricity shortage would be decreased after solarization of the agricultural tube wells in the province.
He said that the load shedding of electricity could be ended if the consumers paid their utility bills well in time.
He stressed the need to create awareness about payment of their utility bills and urged the elected representatives to launch awareness in this regard.
