Role of police key in bringing peace and stability in Balochistan, says Minister Home

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Ziaullah Langove has stated that there has been key role of Police force in bringing peace and stability in the province.
He said that the police is busy in establishing peace and protection of the life and property of the masses.
However, it’s overall performance can be improved further by implementing the community policing in true letter and spirit.
The Provincial Minister was speaking on occasion of visit to the Central Police Office here on Thursday.
The Minister on the occasion assured that all resources would be provided to the police force, but in return, we want to end crimes.
He regretfully pointed out that we have been failed in eliminating terrorism despite passage of over 25 years.
He stressed that we have to make decisive war against terrorism.
He also appreciated the sacrifices of the forces saying that we are proud of them.
He said that peace is unavoidable for development and prosperity.
Earlier, the Minister was briefed about the performance of police besides other related matters. It was informed that work is going on the safe city project in other districts of the province.
The IGP said that more than 1,000 police officers and jawans have embraced martyrdom in war against terrorism.
The Minister visited the monument of police martyrs and offered fateha for their departed souls.
He also visited safe city command and control room, police library, women day care center and police archive center.
