Rawalpindi Cantonment Board CEO Syed Ali Irfan, accompanied by MNA Malik Abrar Ahmed, visited various drains in the city to inspect the cleanliness and encroachment issues.
During the visit, CEO Syed Ali Irfan Rizvi and MNA Malik Abrar Ahmed met with residents of Jan Colony and briefed them on the measures being taken to address the issues of drain cleanliness and encroachment. The residents appealed to the CEO to take immediate action against encroachments wherever they are found.
The residents praised the Cantonment Board staff for their efforts in cleaning the drains. Recently, the Cantonment Board staff had risked their lives to save a child, and the residents appreciated their bravery.
The Cantonment Board spokesperson announced cash awards for the staff and sanitary supervisors who had shown exceptional performance.
