Departments should be fully alert in case of heavy rainfall: Syed Shakeel Ahmed

Karachi; Administrator DMC East, Syed Shakeel Ahmed and Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan imposed rain emergency in DMC East following the forecast of heavy rains and stormy winds due to cyclone, instructions have been issued to the concerned departments to remain alert and holidays have been canceled.

Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed has said that keeping in view the forecast of heavy rains, all necessary arrangements should be kept in full, efforts should be made to provide relief to the people by keeping the dewatering pumps and other machineries ready.
He directed the Advertising Department to take steps to remove the boards immediately because according to the reports so far, the speed of stormy winds will be very fast, for which it is very important to make arrangements in advance.

After the implementation of rain emergency, the duty charter has been issued by the departments regarding the rain emergency, the duty charter has been issued by the Disaster Management, Parks, M&E and B&R Departments.
