Quetta, September 10
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sardar Faraz Bugti said that the personality and character of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah serve as a guiding light for all Pakistanis. In a message on the occasion of September 11, the Chief Minister said that Quaid-e-Azam’s tireless efforts and sacrifices in the struggle for Pakistan’s independence cannot be forgotten.
He emphasized the need to adhere to the principles of unity, organization, and faith, as exemplified by Quaid-e-Azam, in order to build a better Pakistan and provide a bright future for generations to come.
Bugti said that Quaid-e-Azam, upon entering practical politics, prioritized the attainment of a separate homeland for Muslims. His leadership exposed the Congress’s intentions towards Muslims, and the 1940 Lahore Resolution paved the way for the creation of a separate homeland for Muslims. The 1945 elections, won by the Muslim League under Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership, marked a significant milestone in Muslims’ participation in Indian politics, ultimately leading to the establishment of Pakistan in 1947.
He added that Quaid-e-Azam’s struggle and vision continue to inspire Pakistanis to work towards a prosperous and developed country.
