Quetta: Aug. 03..The Red Zone area in Quetta has been reopened to traffic on the eighth day, and normal life is slowly returning to the city. All containers and barbed wires have been removed from the roads, and all adjacent roads to the Red Zone have been restored for traffic.
The provincial government had placed containers and barbed wires at various points, including Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Chowk, Dak Khana Chowk, Commissioner Office, and Hockey Ground Chowk, to block the roads due to protests. However, with the negotiations between the Baloch Unity Committee and the provincial government of Balochistan entering the final stages in Gwadar, the containers and barbed wires have been removed, and the roads have been reopened.
Additionally, the heavy police presence has also been withdrawn from the Red Zone area.
