Quetta Police Criticized for Arresting Islamic Leader, Molana Muhammad Tahir Toheed

A leader of the Islamic Students Organization, Quetta district, has condemned the arrest and alleged torture of Molana Muhammad Tahir Toheed, a prominent Islamic leader, by Quetta police. Toheed, who is also the Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, was arrested for raising his voice for the recovery of a missing child, Ali Muhammad Jatak, who has been missing for 48 days.¹
