QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan has directed the concerned high ups to complete all the development projects of Quetta Development Package within the stipulated time.
The Chief Secretary said that Quetta development Package is going to be a milestone for development of Quetta city as these projects are very important to facilitate the people.
The Chief Secretary was on his visit to Quetta city for inspection of different development projects being executed under the Quetta Package, here on Sunday.
The Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat and Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Saad were also accompanied with the Chief Secretary.
The Chief Secretary inspected the projects including Sabzal road, Sariab road, Eastern and Western bypass, Haza Ranji bus terminal and water treatment plant.
The Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner briefed the Chief Secretary about different projects and their progress.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary directed to remove all the hurdles coming in way of smooth completion of the development projects.
He said that the Quetta would turn into modern beautiful city after completion of the development projects under Quetta Package.
He also directed to complete the construction and expansion of roads at the earliest.
In addition to this, necessary steps should also be taken for improving the situation of cleanliness in Quetta on an emergent basis.
