Quetta: Meeting on Road Sector Projects of Balochistan Socio-Economic Development

Quetta: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Secretary for Communications and Works, Lal Jan Jaffar, to discuss the progress of road sector projects under the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Project.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Communications and Works Lal Jan Jaffar, Project Coordinator Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Projects Shahzad Hassan, Additional Secretary Finance Qasim Kakar, and other officials.

The meeting discussed the progress of all road sector projects in detail. Secretary C&W directed that the projects be completed according to the approved timeline.

Instructions were also given for the preparation of Phase II of the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Projects.

The meeting was briefed on the progress of ongoing road sector development projects in the province.

Secretary Communications stated that completing ongoing development projects within the financial year or even earlier should be the top priority of the department.

Provincial Secretary Lal Jan Jaffar said that the completion of these projects in remote and backward areas of the province will lead to the development and prosperity of these areas.
