Quetta Master Plan should be completed at the earliest

QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan has stated that comprehensive planning and coordinated strategy is disparately needed for sustainable development and construction of any of city so as to fulfil all needs of the citizens.
The Chief Secretary exhorted to all concerned institutions to play their role for providing basic needs and facilities to the new generations by preparing comprehensive planning keeping in view the future requirements.
The Chief Secretary was chairing meeting on Quetta Master Plan here on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary Transport, Hayat Kakar, Secretary Urban Planning, Umeed Ali Khokhar, Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat Director General QDA and other concerned high ups.
The Chief Secretary maintained that the provincial government is taking steps to resolve the important and serious issues of Quetta so as to minimize public issues.
He directed to complete the Quetta Master Plan project at the earliest.
He said that such steps should be taken for development of the city, which are seen practically on the ground.
In this regard, all have to play their effective role honestly, adding he stressed.
