QESCO crackdown continues against

QUETTA: At least 84 more applications have been submitted for legal action against the power pilferers in different police stations located in different operation circles of the province, on Thursday.
According to the spokesman of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), the crackdown remained continued against the pilferage of electricity and defaulters in Quetta, Pishin, Loralai, Sibi, Khuzdar and Makran operation circles of the province.
The QESCO spokesman said that 84 applications were submitted for action against power pilferers in different police stations during last 24 hours.
He also informed that 2,180 units were charged detection fine on the power pilferers in different operation circles the other day. The value of electricity of the charged units becomes over Rs. 3.67 million.
However, Rs. 3.62 million were recovered from the power pilferers on account of the detection fine the other day, the spokesman of QESCO added.
