Punjab Police reached Peshawar to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab nominee Chief Minister Mian Aslam.

PESHAWAR – The Punjab Police reached Peshawar to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab nominee Chief Minister Mian Aslam.

According to sources, the Punjab Police tried to arrest Mian Aslam from outside the Speaker’s House Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Sources said that during the arrest of Mian Aslam, PTI workers resisted and brought him back to the Speaker House.

Earlier, the Peshawar High Court granted PTI leader Mian Aslam Iqbal bail till March 4.

The court ordered that the petitioners should appear before the Lahore High Court or relevant courts by March 4, failing which the order will be reversed.

The High Court also ordered to send a copy of the order to the concerned court and police station.
