PTI LEADER AKBAR BABAR TO CHALLENGE SUPREME COURT’S VERDICT ON PARTY LEADERSHIP

Islamabad, Sept 15: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding member and intra-party election stakeholder, Akbar S. Babar, has announced plans to challenge the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the party’s leadership.

Babar emphasized that if Barrister Gohar and others are elected through transparent party elections, PTI workers will accept them as leaders. However, he pointed out that the Supreme Court itself did not recognize Barrister Gohar as party chairman or Omar Ayub as secretary-general in its verdict.
