Peshswar – In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the PTI holds more provincial assembly seats than any other party, yet lacks a clear majority. According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, independent assembly members cannot form a government in the province. If independent PTI members form the government, they could ally with either JUI(F) or PPPP. With JUI(F), PTI could secure 30 seats combining their reserved ones. Alternatively, allying with PPPP would benefit PTI, as PPPP holds three reserved seats, out of PTI’s total of 21.
