QUETTA: The Director General, Balochistan Food Authority (BFA), Muhammad Naeem Bazai has stated that it is the mission of BFA to provide quality and healthy food to the general public and it is continuously busy to achieve the goal.
The standard of milk and edible oil is being reviewed under the free milk and cooking oil testing service.
According to the Director General BFA, the checking is being done in the food centres, factories and food processing units in different districts of the province under special inspection plan prepared for the holy month of Ramadan, he added.
He urged the general public to inform the Food Authority if they saw sale of any adulterated or substandard food items so as to take timely action against those involved in it.
