Provision for best health facilities to People in Govt hospitals, District Administration Lahore in action

Lahore, June 24, 2023: District Administration Lahore is mobilized to provide the best health facilities to citizens in Govt hospitals. On the special direction of DC Lahore Rafia Haidar, Assistant Commissioners paid surprise visits to Govt hospitals in their Jurisdiction on Saturday morning to review the arrangements. Assistant Commissioners City visited Mian Munshi Hospital, Assistant Commissioner Raiwind visited BHU Raiwind while Assistant Commissioner Shalimar visited BHU Daroghan Kalan.

They checked the attendance of doctors and staff, emergency room, gynecology ward, labor room, medicine stock and record and Cleanliness arrangements. During the visit, poor arrangements of Cleanliness were found in Mian Munshi Hospital and no record of medicine was maintained. Assistant Commissioner City sent the report of surprise visit to the Deputy Commissioner Lahore. DC Lahore summoned MS Mian Munshi Hospital along with a medical record and ordered MS to conduct an immediate cleaning operation in Mian Munshi Hospital.

DC Lahore Rafia Haidar sternly warned the hospital administration and said that they would ensure the provision of all possible facilities to the public in the Govt hospitals. DC Lahore Rafia Haidar also directed hospital administration to make the best arrangements of cleanliness in the hospital. “Those who are showing negligence to fulfill the basic necessities in hospitals will not remain in management seats”, she further added.
