The protest rally, led by Shikarpur Union of Journalists President Zahid Noon and Shikarpur Press Club Vice President Arif Qureshi, started from the Jamani Hall and ended at the Press Club. A large number of journalists, cameramen, photographers, and media workers participated in the rally, holding banners and chanting slogans in support of freedom of the press. Speakers at the rally included Zahid Noon, Arif Qureshi, Abdul Salam Unar, Agha Israr Pathan, Ibrahim Brohi, Abdul Khaliq Somro, and others.
