Independent desk.

Choose the one that suits your preference! drivers in Gwadar’s Kontani Hor area staged a protest at the Coastal Highway’s Sarbandan Cross, bringing traffic to a standstill. The drivers are upset about restrictions imposed on their business and movement in the area. They claim that Pakistan Coast Guards have banned the transportation of Iranian petroleum products out of Gwadar district.
Representatives from various political parties, including BNP Awami’s Central Secretary General Advocate Saeed Faiz, All Parties Gwadar’s Convener Ghaffar Hoot, National Party’s Central Secretary General Adam Qadir Bakhsh, and PPP’s District President Yousuf Faradi, joined the protest to show solidarity with the pickup union.
The protesters demand:
Lifting of Restrictions*: Removal of bans on their business activities
– *Freedom of Movement*: End to limitations on their movement in Kontani Hor
– *Revocation of Ban*: Cancellation of Pakistan Coast Guards’ self-imposed ban on transporting Iranian petroleum products out of Gwadar district
The pickup union has vowed to continue the protest indefinitely until their demands are met.
